About Tina

Tina Bartlett Mitchell is a wife of 14 years and mother of four. In 2013, she was awarded a state and national title with the Mrs. Idaho US Ambassador pageant, a “platform only” based contest designed to recognize the accomplishments of women in influential roles. Tina’s platform was the “Victors of our Future” program she designed to help participants learn to recognize how the symptoms of having a victim mindset hold us back in life and then develop empowering tools to create the lives they dream about.

In addition, Tina was named the 2013 “Woman of the Year” through the Mrs. Idaho United States Pageant. She received this award for being named “most influential” to those around her. Tina is a board member of “The Community Kindness Movement” in Idaho and worked for three years as an instructor for women at the Ada County Jail. Tina is also the owner, main artist/sculptor at Tinytina Creations, where she hand sculpts miniatures and small figurines.

Tina loves to get to know people and create new things, and she is a strong advocate for continuing to improve oneself. She believes people’s greatest emotional need is to feel validated and to connect with others who have “been there, done that”.

Tina remembers well the personal emotional struggles of her youth and the hardships they created. However, the lessons that brought her through it are what have stayed in the forefront of her mind. As she shares her story with audiences of all ages, it brings her great satisfaction to use these experiences to benefit others.

“I’ve always loved associating with youth,” Tina says, “but after multiple mothers sent their daughters to me get to know them and hopefully provide some mentorship, I realized maybe I should be reaching a larger group of people with the things I repeatedly share. Thus, ‘Victors of our Future’ was divinely inspired and born.”

Tina believes she wouldn’t be where she is today without having had great examples in her youth, been willing to learn new things and stay close to her Father in Heaven through prayer and scripture study. She believes following the teachings of Jesus Christ is what truly gives us the freedom and power to be the best we can be.
